Outstanding achievements – the CSO Awards/24

When the world’s political and business leaders convened again in Davos in January 2024, many other events and initiatives were also be held around the World Economic Forum. One of them were the CSO Awards/24 bestowed by Futur/io on 15 January, which honored the exceptional commitment and achievements of Chief Sustainability Officers in European companies. We were part of the event as a sponsor and attended together with Pool – Sparring with the Future, a joint venture between Mazars and Murmann Publishers.

Sustainable economic development is an important cornerstone of healthy growth. Chief sustainability officers are the key players driving the success of such projects, especially in terms of strategy, coordination, and impetus. We feel that these efforts and achievements must be recognised and rewarded. For this reason, Mazars was a supporter of the CSO Awards/24.

As a strong partner, we guide companies on their sustainability journey and help them meet today’s challenges. The institute Pool addresses the issues of trend analysis and stakeholder engagement in a unique way to guide companies in preparing for the future. Both complement each other in a symbiotic way: Pool helps by identifying the major issues of tomorrow in a visionary manner, and by deciphering complex issues and in doing so connecting companies with stakeholders – Mazars offers advisory and audit services related to sustainability with a profound know-how of the current needs and strategic challenges.
