Business continuity management system (BCMS)

A business continuity management system is meant to secure the business’s capacity so that it can continue in the case of disruptions, emergencies, crises or even disasters. Furthermore, it defines plans to switch over to emergency operations as soon as possible as well as subsequently return to normal operations.

Our approach:

We support you in building up a business continuity management system (BCMS), tailored to the special requirements of your company. In doing so, our experienced experts not only take into account the ISO 22301 standard, but also the 200-4 BSI standard and observe the various scenarios within the framework of a business impact analysis (BIA). Finally, we carry out a comprehensive risk analysis of your entire organisation.

Our services:

  • Securing the operability of the information technology (IT), meaning related data centres, technical and IT infrastructure, servers, software, data and authorisation management
  • Developing action plans for when sites, buildings, sections thereof or specific rooms are not available
  • Developing action plans for staff absences, for example due to strikes, sabotage, illness or public disturbances
  • Supporting action plans in case of supplier failure or supply chain disruptions
  • Developing individual emergency or restart plans
  • Regular emergency drills in your company and testing of the developed plans
