Dr. Markus Nagel, LL.M.oec., has been a Manager at Mazars since 2021. As a specialist lawyer for administrative law, he advises the public sector, including its companies and private sector companies, on EU state aid law and all issues relating to granting state funding. His expertise covers particular complex investment projects and the area of hospital subsidies. It includes, besides the application, structuring and presenting of state support, the examination of state subsidies and other state measures about their compatibility with EU state aid law, including legal issues in connection with the recovery of state subsidies and aid.
