The German Accounting Law Modernisation Act (Bilanzrechtsmodernisierungsgesetz - BilMoG) is the largest reform of accounting law since 1985. The goal of the law is the modernisation of German commercial law (HGB) accounting laws and thus harmonization with the international accounting standards (IFRS).
