MAZARS presents the “World Map of Entrepreneurship 2007"

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) annually issues a special analysis in which it conducts a global comparison of the proliferation of companies with high growth potential in 53 countries. Newly founded companies and start-ups which aimed to create at least 20 new jobs in the next five years are considered as companies with high growth potential. The economic power and influence of these companies is enormous: although at 7.4 percent they only represent a small portion of all entrepreneurial activities worldwide, they are responsible for nearly 75 percent of newly created jobs.

MAZARS prepared this report together with the London Business School and Babson College, Massachusetts (USA).
